The University of South Africa (UNISA) has officially announced its 12-month Internship Programme for 2026, inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply across several departments and regions.
This programme is aimed at giving workplace exposure to first-time job seekers, particularly UNISA graduates, with strong emphasis on equity, inclusion, and opportunities for persons with disabilities.
Who Can Apply?
UNISA is calling on applicants who meet the following criteria:
- South African citizens who are unemployed
- UNISA graduates with qualifications at NQF Level 6 or higher
- 35 years or younger
- No prior work experience
- Not previously appointed at UNISA or any other organisation
- Students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
