The University of Johannesburg has expanded its cooperation with institutions in Liberia through a recent visit by its leadership team. The visit focused on building stronger academic and research relationships that support development across both countries.

During the trip, UJ representatives met with government officials, university leaders and development partners. The discussions included plans for student exchanges, staff training, joint research projects and community focused initiatives. The goal is to create long term collaboration that supports skills development and knowledge sharing.

UJ says the partnership will help expand opportunities for African students and researchers. The university also noted that working closely with other countries on the continent supports its mission to contribute to social and economic progress through education.
